The series follows Alpha, A coffee loving cafe owning android, as she goes about her daily life played out through a series of vignettes. Ranging from grounded to comedic each of these slice-of-life scenes is tinged with an undercurrent of wistful melancholy. As the series goes on it becomes clear that the world our characters live is in the process of a slow apocalypse. Many beutiful vistas are centered on sunken cities and the gentle creep of nature recaliming the concrete.Alpha, the old family that live down the road from her and her android girlfriend kokone make their way through this ruined but still very much alive world without any of the cyniciysim we see today.
